Natural VITINC Defatted Wheat Germ is a Non-GMO, Non-Flatulent, Non-Beany Flavor
ingredient. It is a high quality and high nutrition product with an appealing
nutty flavor without the high calories. It is nearly fat free (maximum
1% fat), cholesterol free, sodium free and is a rich source of dietary fiber,
high quality protein, complex carbohydrates and specific essential vitamins
and minerals. It is a shelf-stable food ingredient, as well as a basic supplement
for cold and hot breakfast cereals, baked and fried goods, sweet and salty

Defatted Wheat Germ Type GI
It is defatted from freshly milled wheat germ and then specially
processed without any additives to inactivate glutathione that
naturally is present in wheat germ. Processing avoids the liquefication
of the gluten, which could alter volume and texture of certain baked
products.
This form of Defatted Wheat Germ is recommended for use in a variety of
snacks and baked goods, particularly in bread. It has a clean, wheaty
flavor and is dark tan to brown in color.
